Angels in the Desert Benefit at 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort and Spa Friday, November 18, at 6 p.m.
Genoa, NV | November 16, 2011
Our military does so much for us, why not give a little back to soldiers currently serving overseas? The historic 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort and Spa will be hosting the Angels in the Desert Benefit this Friday, November 18 from 6 to 10 p.m. By reserving your tickets at $35 per person, you may enjoy great food, live entertainment and a fun time at the resort! (A cash bar will also be available.) A silent auction (6:00-7:30 p.m.) and a live auction (beginning at 8 p.m.) will be held as well. All proceeds will go toward purchasing and sending gifts to 700 soldiers based in Iraq who cannot be home with their families for the holidays.
As a retired Navy Seal, Pat Joyce, CEO and one of the owners of Summer Winds Resorts and 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort and Spa, feels that it is important for him and his company to support our armed forces. "We really thought this event was a great way for us to show our support for our Troops. We are glad to have donated our venue, the food and some great auction items for this worthwhile event", stated managing owner of 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort and Spa, Dawn Joyce.
